Refrashield is unique product range of refractory coatings formulated to protect monoliths, castables, steel shell crucibles, ladels in furnaces, boilers. klins and various high temperature vesels. It is very easy to apply and the damaged refractories can be repaired in situ.

a) Refrashield RR: Reafrashield Refractory Repair Compound

Refrashield RR is the unique refractory repair compound, which is designed to repair the cracked refractory in-situ. Application is very easy, just mix the content with water, adjust the required consistency and just fill up the gap. The curing will be 'ON-LINE'. This forms a eutetic with base refrctory and fills up all the cracks. This product is must for all IBR or Non-IBR boiler installations during their annual shutdown.

b) Refrashield NG: Refrashield Non-Glaze Coating.

Refrashiled NG is the non-glaze type of refractory coating, which will form a non-sticking, monolithic coating over the refractory. This will also seal small hair line cracks & porosity of refractory surface. In short, this coating will prevent the damages to the refractory surface. The refractories are attacked by acidic nature of fuel gases, efrashield NG protects the refractories from the corrosive attacks & from heavy metal despositions.

c) Refrashield: Refrashield Glaze Type Coating.

The glazing coating of Refrashield will create a glazed monolitic surface, which is non-porous in nature. This coating prevents hot gases from escaping through the refractory and loss of heat due to radiation. It will also create a surface, which will prevent the slag adhesion.
